But then I found this great graphic pagoda fabric at an awesome textile outlet in nearby Burlington and couldn't resist making curtain panels with it.
And why not reuse my diy drum shade which has been languishing in a closet since its Oak Park dining room glory days of yore? It hangs with the same wire hardware over the top of the existing Ikea chandelier as it did in Oak Park, but this time I left the bottom of the shade open.
The two textile additions soften the space. And add punches of personality and color.
